Combermere are once again leading both the Girls and Boys divisions, going into the final day of the 2024 Dasani/Powerade BSSAC Championships.

After today’s action on day one of the finals at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, the Waterford athletes are out front in the Girls with 202 points – that’s 13.5 ahead of previous leaders the St. Michael School on 188.5, followed by the Alleyne School in third on 139.

In the Boys, Combermere are holding a 45-point lead over Harrison College, 201 to 157, with Queen’s College third on 136.

Let’s have a look at the fastest junior athletes on the island, with the Under-17s and Under-20s 100 metres, and the tight competition in the Under-13 and Under-15 800 metres.

The final day is set for tomorrow with live coverage on CBC TV8 and Radio 98.1 The One from 10:00 a.m.
